Samuel Kendall Mu\u00f1oz<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Born in Madrid, with a British background, Samuel was a hyper-active and creative child for which reason his mother sent him to learn dance, and a very good choice it was to be. From age 7 until graduation (at 19yrs) he studied at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Fortea in Madrid and then spent a year at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza Maria de Avila, studying\/ specializing interpretation as well as choreography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samuel: \u201cI believe Junior Ballet Antwerp will give me security and confidence, as well as prepare me for the future. The program offers great versatility and includes excellent teachers and coaches. Their former dancers have nothing but praise for the personal attention given to each student, which all adds up to make it a great place to learn to become a true professional. This is what I hope to learn during my time with JBA.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samuel has a long list of favourite companies – some examples being Ballet Zurich, Bayerische Staatsballet and Dutch National Ballet. His \u2018dream\u2019 choreographers are David Dawson, Goyo Montero, Nacho Duato and William Forsythe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His favourite ballet is \u2018A Sweet Spell of Oblivion\u2019 by David Dawson. He realises that the choreography takes ballet beyond the traditional, giving dancers new movement in which to express themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He hopes to dance professionally and later to choreograph and teach with the idea to return to his old school in Spain and provide younger dancers with the same opportunities he enjoyed there.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
