Samuele D’andrea

Samuele is Italian, with birthplace and present home Potenza, in the south of Italy.
With only a year of taking dance classes locally, he was accepted into the Rome Opera Ballet School at the age of 10 where he studied for 9 years.

Why Junior Ballet Antwerp? Samuele heard about the JBA program through a friend of his; both were students of Francesco Annarumma who, last season, choreographed the energetic, evening-closing work FURORE for JBA. After some research Samuele was taken by the reports of JBA’s varied repertoire and excellent coaching.

This young man does not have a dream company or a favorite ballet; wisely he is laying himself open to seeing as much variety as possible.

However he does hope to find work in a dance environment where many different forms of art come together.

Samuele’s hobbies are are drawing & photography – in fact all of art in general.
