Agnes Gioia Leutgeb

Austrian-Hungarian dancer Agnes was born in Vienna, Austria.

She started dancing at her local dance school the age of 8, joined the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy when she was 10 yrs before furthering her training at the Dutch National Ballet Academy at the age of 16, Amsterdam from where she graduated in 2026.

Agnes: “I feel that Junior Ballet Antwerp offers an open approach to different directions and styles within dance. It feels like a space where I can continue to develop as an artist while having the freedom to explore, discover and grow in my own way. My goal is to become a more versatile and mature dancer through diverse stage experiences and a variety of productions and I would like to discover new facets of myself as an artist.”

Agnes’ dream is to join a professional ballet company with an eclectic repertoire and dreams of an opportunity to perform works by William Forsythe, David Dawson and Crystal Pite, while also dancing well-known classical ballets and contemporary choreographies.

One of her favorite works is Blake Works I by William Forsythe because of its unique movement quality and the way the choreography interacts with the abstract music. 

Outside of dance, she enjoys traveling with friends, listening to music and visiting art exhibitions as welI as playing piano which she passionately studied for eight years.
