FLASH #38 – CHAPTER 8!

If there was a book written over JBA’s passage starting out from day one, we would now be turning the page over to chapter 8!

To this date we, JBA’s artistic leaders and team, remain stunned at all that has been achieved during the past seven years.

As a result, taking stock not only of recent successes but also of the challenges to be faced, we are excited to move forward and eager to embrace all that lies ahead.

Our upcoming season is best described as a mixture of existing favorites and creative new adventures, without a doubt something to suit everyone’s taste.

CINDERELLA

We close 2026 with a few last performances of our much-loved fairytale ballet CINDERELLA, with the young heroine and her extremely selfish step-family returning for a final bow in Hasselt, Antwerp & Ghent. Don’t miss this ultimate chance to be enchanted!

FURORE

Following close on Cinderella’s heels is the revival of one of JBA’s most successful productions to date: FURORE! As much a tour-de-force for our dancers as for the public, this dynamic and explosive triptych will be touring Flanders throughout Feb-March-April 2027.

ONCE UPON A TIME… WHAT IF?

Wrapping up season 26/27 is our highly-anticipated new collaboration with Italian dance maker Mauro de Candia (JAMES): ONCE UPON A TIME… WHAT IF?

In a fresh take on some of the Brothers Grimm’s most famous tales, De Candia will return us in time, unlocking our collective childhood memories in order to remake them in highly-original fashion.

WANT MORE?

A proven success: our tasteful menu with the favorite and exclusive Fundraising Gala Dinner Event in the Chapel of the Botanic Sanctuary Hotel in Antwerp returns on October 21st, and we will be once more opening our studio doors to groups during the popular behind-the-scenes glimpse at our organization which includes a delightful lunch prepared by our ever-caring JBA team.
