The corps de ballet is the homogeneous group of a company. Large dance sections are completed by the dancers of the corps de ballet. Full of dynamic, they form the base of every company and therefore also of every ballet performance.

A Principal dancer performs the lead role in a ballet. He is often the star of the performance.
